Handling difficult phone calls, thinking about a presentation or a key note speech, and learning a new language. Certain tasks I set myself I prefer to do during long car rides. My car gets me ahead in life.
I love nothing more than listening to presentations by gifted people. I hang on their lips, even if I only partly agree with them. Because their passion and drive resonate in their words, their style of speaking is usually phenomenal. I simply love well-spoken people.
For a few days now, Eckhart Tolle has been reading “A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose” to me. He does so in an almost hypnotic way, and I bury myself in the words and sentences. I hear him talk about letting go instead of taking along. About the burden of pain bodies, and the power of now. And about the absurd appreciation of business fame and success. Deepened, I arrive at my destination. A little further.
