Type 2: The Sponge
Mission: Learn. Learn. Learn.
Let there be no misunderstandings: at the conference, the sponge is there 'to learn'. The sponge eagerly absorbs every form of knowledge, while busily scribbling in notebooks and/or typing on the laptop. The sponge is usually a young professional, often a full-time or part-time student. However, the sponge in a career switch is also increasingly being spotted. The sponge is not to be envied, the pressure is great. Literally everything is interesting. Furthermore, the sponge is a highly valued guest at conferences. He or she is noticed.
Are you a sponge? Take it easy, then at least the line won't break. Learn to distinguish between main and secondary issues. Relax from time to time and look around you. You will be noticed.
