This type should not be confused with number 1 on this list; the networker.
Where the networker gathers people, the collector searches for 1) gadgets, and 2) business cards. This person takes everything, no notepad escapes his rummaging fingers. He lovingly picks up dropped business cards, forgotten goodie bags quickly disappear into his trolley.
Of course, the collector is also there for the positive vibe. And to learn. And to meet new people. But if you recognize yourself in this type, then it might be time to downsize your eagerness. It is seen.
Can we also learn something from the collector? Business card fetishism is not a bad habit. Data is gold. The astute reader is now a lot more careful with his name and address details. Especially guard your mobile number. Two types of business cards are not an unnecessary luxury.
