“Executive Coaching? What’s in it for me?”
If I have to think of a word that stands for executive coaching, I would choose the word change. I would rather choose two words; change and growth. Three words? Change. Growth. Support.
I know both sides of Executive Coaching as well as the inside pocket of my favorite jacket. Been there, seen it, done thatI was coachee. I am a coach. I am still being coached.
Now you have coaches and coaches. In an earlier posting I made the comparison with peanut butter. People live with difficulty on dry bread, but it is a bit meager to let your culinary happiness depend on the supply of peanut butter.
Anyone who can bake their own excellent bread, with the perfect ingredients, doesn't need peanut butter at all.
Men and women in top positions cannot do without executive coaching.
An executive coach helps you to be the best version as a leader. As a fixer. As a person in relation to other people.
